Rapid marker-assisted back crossing and speed breeding

Objectives:

1. Learn, evaluate and potentially adopt speed breeding techniques and identify new ways of bringing Non-GMO soybean varieties to market sooner than current strategies.
2. Improve the ability for a conventional breeding program to react to market demands through rapid marker assisted backcrossing techniques.
3. Meet market demands with new product innovation in timely manner.
